Options for Life supports ethical trade and tries to buy from sustainable and renewable resources wherever possible.
We keep our own chickens, for eggs, and grow fruit and vegetables on our own allotments.
We support Traidcraft because it champions fair trade for small business in third world countries.
We discuss these issues with our participants and a small group from Warley Leisure and Smethwick Leisure go out on a Wednesday morning to the local shops to buy supplies for the café – supporting local growers and suppliers wherever we can and keeping supermarket shopping down to a minimum.
