We are a registered charity providing a range of day opportunities, leisure, work experience and support services for people with learning disabilities who live in and around Sandwell in the West Midlands.

Options for Life works to make sure  participants are valued and enabled to live their lives to the full, ensuring they enjoy the same rights and opportunities as non-disabled people.

We have five full-time day services, each of them with their own separate base, and a team of over 70 paid staff and volunteers.

Our administration and finance teams also play an important part, not just in keeping our organisation running efficiently, but in supporting or befriending participants or helping with activities in some way. They are a fantastic asset.   

Many participants access more than one service and there are many shared opportunities, giving participants the chance to meet different people across the services, enjoy varied activities, and get to know people in the wider community.

Referrals: Anyone may refer, including service users, carers, staff, volunteers and coordinators, social workers and other professionals.

As an organisation we stand in the gap of statutory services, providing a holistic service for people with a wide range of needs, aspirations and abilities who may otherwise not be catered for.
