High Flyers move into Pegasus House

High Flyers, a service providing day opportunites for adults with learning disabilities in the Wombourne area, have now been in their new home for over a month.

Following extensive refurbishment, High Flyers are now enjoying the range of facilites on offer from Pegasus House.  Facilities include an I.T suite, art room, multi purpose activity rooms, common room and brand new kitchen/diner.  The sensory room that is planned for Pegasus House will be up and running mid summer.

Pegasus House gives our High Flyers a permanent base in the heart of their community, promoting integration and inclusion.

High Flyer's co-ordinator Sheila Baker says of Pegasus House "It is truly wonderful to have a new place which gives lots of opportunities for our members to enjoy a range of activities.  We are very much looking forward to the completion of the rest of the building".

During the second phase of works we will be refurbishing the second wing of the building.  This wing will provide short overnight breaks.

All of the facilities at Pegasus House are availabe for hire by members of the public, local groups and organisations.  Please call 0121 544 6611 for more details.
