The first half of this week and the last week have been filled with a variety of fun, enriching, and relaxing activities for our participants at Options for Life. From shopping sprees to gardening triumphs, here's a peek into what they've been up to.
Angela’s Coffee Break After a Shopping Marathon
Angela spent a busy day shopping both for herself and her mom. After all that hustle and bustle, she found the perfect way to unwind—enjoying a peaceful coffee break. We captured a photo of Angela looking relaxed and content, savouring her well-deserved coffee. Shopping can be exhausting, but Angela knows how to recharge with style!
FunFit at Dorothy Parkes: Strengthening Bodies and Spirits
Our FunFit session at Dorothy Parkes was a blast! Participants took part in a variety of exercises, including resistance band workouts and the intense battle rope. The best part? These are exercises that can easily be done at home, keeping everyone active even between sessions. The energy was high, and participants were eager to capture the moment, snapping lots of photos to remember their workout achievements.
Claire’s Pamper Session in the Beauty Room
Last week, Claire had a morning of pure indulgence in the beauty room. There’s nothing like a little pampering to lift the spirits, and Claire came out glowing, both inside and out. Whether it’s a fresh manicure or a soothing facial, our beauty room is the place to unwind and feel fabulous.
A Day Out at Becketts Farm
Participants enjoyed a lovely day at Becketts Farm yesterday, packed with fun and exploration. From wandering through the vibrant sunflower fields to meeting the farm animals and exploring the aquatic centre, the day was full of adventure. Of course, no trip would be complete without a delicious lunch. With so many beautiful moments, our participants were keen to capture the day in photos, preserving memories of this perfect outing.
Green Thumbs in Action: Harvesting and National Allotments Week
Our gardening lads have been hard at work in the allotments yesterday, and their efforts are paying off! They harvested some impressive spuds and courgettes, with one courgette standing out as particularly massive. After their morning in the garden, they visited the Bournville Garden Centre for a relaxing coffee and to source some sprout plants for future gardening endeavours. With National Allotments Week in full swing, it's the perfect time to celebrate the joys of growing your own produce. Naturally, this fruitful day was documented with plenty of photos!

From personal achievements to community activities, this week and the last week at Options for Life have been full of moments worth cherishing. We’re proud to offer such a diverse range of experiences that cater to the interests and well-being of our participants.
