It’s been another fantastic week filled with creativity, teamwork, and plenty of smiles! Our participants have been busy exploring new skills, enjoying the outdoors, and producing some truly impressive work. Here’s a look at what everyone has been up to:

🎶 Musical Creativity

Our week began with a lively music session on Monday, where participants discovered the unique sound of Pan Pipes with the guidance from Jan. Everyone had great fun crafting their own instruments out of straws and experimenting with different notes. It was a brilliant combination of creativity and learning—well done to all involved!

🎨 Artistic Expression

The art sessions this week were bursting with imagination:

  • Rebecca created a beautiful tree artwork and also designed a self-portrait using felt tips and buttons—an eye-catching and personal piece!

  • Claire embraced the summer spirit with colourful, vibrant artwork, really getting into those sunny vibes.

🌳 Enjoying the Outdoors

Spending time in nature proved to be a highlight:

  • Ian had a wonderful day visiting West Bromwich Park and Sandwell Valley. He shared how calming and relaxing he found the experience—what a lovely way to unwind!

🍰 Cooking Successes

Our kitchen was full of activity this week, with some delicious results:

  • Michael (Mikey) impressed us once again by making Millionaire Shortbread. From mixing and melting to a little taste-testing (of course!), he showed excellent skills. While waiting for it to set, he also helped with practical tasks like cleaning taps and organising paperwork—great teamwork, Mikey!

  • Barry, Natalie, and Bradley worked together on Tuesday afternoon to prepare a fish pie and lemon cheesecake. They demonstrated a wide range of cooking skills, and the final dishes tasted amazing. They’re all well on their way to achieving their Cooking Skills Certificate—keep it up!

  • Nita joined in the kitchen to make Banana Bread Muffins and also spent time gardening at Ideal for All’s Market Garden, enjoying both baking and outdoor activity.

🎮 Fun & Achievements

  • Angela had a brilliant trip to the arcade, enjoying the 2p machines. She was absolutely thrilled to win a keyring—congratulations, Angela!

🌈 A Week to Be Proud Of

This week has been a wonderful showcase of creativity, teamwork, and personal achievement. Whether it’s crafting music, creating art, cooking delicious meals, or enjoying outings, every participant has contributed to making the week special.

👏 Well done to everyone—we’re so proud of you all! We can’t wait to see what next week brings!
