🎄 Oak Green Lodge Carol Concert: A Whole Vibe of Festive Joy

The Oak Green Lodge participants pulled up to a local church in Oldbury on 9th December 2025 for our annual Carol Concert — and honestly, the vibes were immaculate from start to finish. From 1pm to 2pm, the whole space was packed with music, laughter, and some seriously festive drip (Christmas jumpers were out in full force).

As soon as everyone settled in, the room lit up with energy. Participants sang their hearts out, recited poems with full confidence, and brought the sweetest atmosphere to the church. The crowd was clapping along, cheering, and really soaking up the moment — pure wholesome chaos in the best way.

A few stars absolutely popped off with instruments too. You could feel how proud everyone was, especially when one of our participants took centre stage with percussion and dulcimer, adding that extra sparkle to the performance. And of course, our vocalist serving Christmas jumper realness while singing into the mic? Iconic.

Huge shout-out to Jan and the musical team, who kept the whole set flowing and supported everyone like pros. They brought the backing, the organisation, and the hype — the perfect combo to help our performers shine.

Once the concert wrapped up, we all moved into serious snack mode: mince pies, biscuits, hot drinks, cold drinks — the full festive spread. People gathered around chatting, laughing, and enjoying that cosy December moment together.

The concert wasn’t just about the music. It was about confidence, connection, creativity, and celebrating what makes Oak Green Lodge so special — our people showing up for each other and having the best time while doing it.
